The Extraordinary Wine Club Policies

Fulfillment

Billing, shipping and delivery for your Extraordinary Wine Club shipments are handled exclusively by Awinestore.com (Cellar 46°’s online wine shop).  If you have concerns or need to make special requests regarding anything having to do with billing, shipping or your delivery,  please contact Awinestore.com at 206 407 3016 or via email at sales@awinestore.com.

Billing

Your credit card will be charged on or after the 16th of each month for that month’s shipment.

Shipping Policy

Awinestore.com can ship to the following states:

AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, LA, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI, WV, WY.

In some cases, Awinestore.com can help you to find alternatives to interstate shipping.  If you do not reside in one of the state listed above, and would still like to become a member of The Extraordinary Wine Club, call us, and we will be happy to explore these other options with you.

Legal Drinking Age:

You must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Awinestore.com. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” sticker, and the carrier that delivers our merchandise is required by law to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that you must be present at the time of delivery.

Shipping Options:

Upon signing up for The Extraordinary Wine Club you may elect to pick up your shipments at Cellar 46°, or have them shipped to an address that you specify.  You may change your preference at any time by contacting Cellar 46°/Awinestore.com.  The Extraordinary Wine Club currently uses UPS for all wine shipments.  The address and contact information for Cellar 46° and Awinestore.com are:

Shipping Dates and Weather Considerations:

Monthly Extraordinary Wine Club Shipments are available on the 19th of each month for pick-up at Cellar 46° if you elect to have your club shipments available for pickup.  If you elect to have your Extraordinary Wine Club Shipment shipped to your work or residence, they will be shipped to the address you specified when signing up on the Monday following the 19th of each month (this minimizes the chances that they will sit in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse over the weekend).

Because extended exposure to hot (over 75° F) and cold (under 28° F) weather can damage to wine, we check the temperature at Cellar 46° on the shipping date, and at the destination on the anticipated arrival day.  In cases where forecasted temperatures could harm the wine, we will hold your shipment in one of Cellar 46°’s temperature controlled wine lockers until conditions permit safe shipment.  We will make an effort to contact you via email in the case that we need to hold your shipment because of weather.   In the case of weather holds, you may also elect to have the wine shipped via a faster method (ie next day air) at your expense and we will be happy to help you arrange this, and advise you on the risks, if any, that are involved.
